K DRAMA REVIEW: PRIVATE LIVES

Is it a thriller, a crime mystery, a love story, action? I don't know

A while ago, I finished a new kdrama called Private Lives that also aired on Netflix. The drama intrigued me due to mysterious plot, as it seemed interesting. However this drama was the worst crime/mystery/romance (idk what genre it falls under even) ever. Watch at your own risk. I basically kept skipping through episodes because it was so slow. Plus even when I watched a whole episode, it showed many cut scenes that it was so out proportion and dragged the plot out. The cut scenes did not have any relation and confused me about what was going on. There were also too many unnecessary characters that had no relation to the plot whatsoever. Plus and open ending for this type of drama? Like come on! The plot development and character was so flat.

Anyways, I am not going to write much about this drama, because it was just horrible.

Synopsis:

Swindlers come across a secret of the nation and try to reveal the secret. They must go up against a large company by using all of their skills. Lee Jung Hwan is a team leader for the major corporation. He looks like an ordinary company employee, but he is a mysterious figure. Cha Joo Eun is a swindler, who has the looks of a sweet and innocent woman. She supports herself with her crimes. Jung Bok Ki is a professional swindler. She often targets other swindlers. She is elegant and also charismatic. Kim Jae Wook is Jung Bok Ki’s partner in crime.

My rating: 1/5
