A Boss Like, Financial Romance
Last week, a new C Drama that was airing finished, called Love is Sweet. This drama stars Bai Lu as Jiang, an aspiring investment banker and Luo Yun Xi ad Yuan Shuai, the invincible, ruthless boss of the top investment company MH.
I mainly watched this drama because of Bai Lu, every since her old drama The Legends, I have always loved her. She never fails to carry out her role perfectly whether it be a modern role, a cross dressing or historical fantasy role. The character she plays are simply to love. I really don't know that much about Lou Yun Xi, other than he was one of the main cast in Ashes of Love with Deng Lun and Yang Zi, but I still haven't watched that.
Anyways, this drama is amazing! It is by far the best modern C Drama of 2020. It wasn't too clichéd and showed a bit of everything for alice of life. I loved the show also presented the daya to day, curel, ruthless side into the world of investment and financial banking. The character developmemt was really well done as the characters had a turning point too. The plot is mediocre, but the chemistry of the main leads makes it worthwhile to watch! It is simply fireworks when they are together. Plus all the incidents and misunderstandings make it more interesting because it's like you are almost dying to know what happens.

LOVE IS SWEET
Jiang Jun (Bai Lu) has a double degree in economics and psychology. She hopes to be a top notch investment banker. Due to her amazing abilities, she takes on the challenge to get a job at a top investment company MH. Little does she know that her boss is the God Of War, invincible, ruthless CEO Yuan Shuai (Luo Yunxi) a bully from her high school days. There is one secret that Yuan Shuai know about Jiang Jun, is that she is allergic to her own tears when she cries, meaning she could be hospitalized from the allergic reaction. Yuan Shuai knows she's emotionally weak and the main reason he has been teasing her was to build up her mental capacity to not cry. Plus he has always been crushing on her. When they both reunite at MH, what events will happen? How will their relationship overcame all the obstacles that come in their way?
