Trying to find a good, new TV show to watch? Need something with humor, but with a slice of life of plot? Then one good TV show I recommend is LOVE 020. This TV show is also on Netflix and is actually a Chinese drama. I started watching Asian dramas in college because I had some of my friends introduced it to me. Now I know, some are wondering why to watch something I can’t understand. Well, there are subtitles that come with drama and it is fun to hear how they talk and communicate, which is another perk of watching an Asian drama. Watching this drama can be the start of something new, it led to me learn about Chinese culture while enjoying the TV show. A good thing about Asian dramas is that each has its own charm depending on the plot and goes through a variety of genres. They also limit their episodes to 16-30 episodes and only have one season. It is almost like watching a novel, hence most Asian dramas are based on novels. LOVE 020 is a good drama to watch for that rom-com/slice of life plot. Throughout the drama, character development is shown, so it is fun to see how they change and what obstacles they overcome.

Bei Weiwei (Zheng Shuang) is the computer department goddess, who excels in her studies. She aspires to be an online game developer and goes by the user ID of Luwei Weiwei in the online role-playing game A Chinese Ghost Story. After she gets dumped by her online husband Zhenshui Wuxiang, she gets approached by the number one player Yixiao Naihe, who suggested that they get married so they both can participate in a couple competition within the game. The newly formed couple instantly hit it off and undergo many adventures together in the game. However, Wei Wei never expected the real identity of her virtual husband to be her college senior, Xiao Nai (Yang Yang) who is described as the cream of the crop in both sports and academics. What will their relationship be like when they meet?
