If are like me, I end up lazing and lounging around on Sundays. I try not have any work or tasks to do on that day. Just to relax. My usual Sundays consist of mostly doing laundry or getting groceries with my parents. Even then it feels relaxing because I'm not doing actual work.
I always take Sundays off with no plans and take the time recap and recuperate from the past week. It helps to start a fresh for the new week and the dreadful busy Mondays on the beginning. Its important to take some time for yourself. It can help give you a peace of mind. Yes, also to spend time with your loved ones, even if it is just talking with them over the phone or video call. Taking time for yourself can help in many ways, and it can allow to teach you to be independent.
So every weekend, even if it's just for awhile, try having a lazy Sunday and give yourself some time to relax
Here are some tips for a lazy Sunday:
Sleep in! Yes I know, you have to wake up early etc. But for a few times on Sundays, try to get yourself that few extra hours of Zzzz's, its not going to hurt you or anyone else.
Relax with a favorite show, or try new show/movie to watch
Read a new book!
Try coloring! Art therapy, I believe has such a huge healing affect, it helps clear the mind.
Talk to some friends/family or video chat with them.
Listen to some of your music, or try some new music
Give your self a spa/self care day.
